Robert E. Craine, Jr.
Mr. Craine earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Kansas and his J.D. and M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University. He practiced law in Tulsa, Oklahoma, primarily in general business law with a transaction-based practice, including extensive work with early-stage companies. His experience included numerous financing and acquisition projects for these small growth companies.
Mr. Craine joined Tribune/Swab-Fox in 1985 as President of its venture capital division. He later ran T/SF Communications' acquisition efforts, including serving as CEO of several successful high-growth subsidiary companies. Mr. Craine became Executive Vice President of T/SF Communications in 1993 when Mr. Barnett became CEO.
Between the sale of T/SF Communications and the formation of TSF Capital, Mr. Craine acted as a consultant to a variety of businesses, including as interim-CEO for early-stage companies in the medical technology and wireless industrial monitoring businesses. He also founded and published Future Value magazine, a publication focused on venture capital, entrepreneurship and technology-based economic development in Oklahoma.
